Badger Associate Principals Katie Stanton and Mike Giovingo accepted the challenge to get their heads shaved in order to raise money for the Walworth County Food Pantry and Diaper. Organized by Badger’s FCCLA, Brave the Shave asked students and staff to vote with their money for the AP they wanted to see bald.
While it was very close the winner, or loser, by more than a razor’s edge, was Mr. Giovingo who brought in $327.50 to Mrs. Stanton’s $233.50 for a total of $561 raised to help feed the hungry. Gina York from Straight to Curley Salon in Genoa City provided the clipping services.
