Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

During the time Badger is closed due to COVID-19, it will be our goal to continue to provide your student with a quality education to the best of our abilities.  Badger will use a distance learning format to keep instructional learning in front of our students.  To assure that students have the tools that they need at home to be a success, students will be permitted in the building on Monday and Tuesday to retrieve materials and if necessary visit the Library to check out a Chromebook charger.  Building hours will be 7:15 a.m. - 3 p.m.  Please be sure students check-in and out through the Main Office.  This is a “get and go” situation only - students should not be dropped off at school for long periods of time.  Staff members will be available to assist students.  Unfortunately, this is not a time for students to make up a test or a time for them to sit down and talk with the staff.  

As a parent/guardian/student, here is what you should expect daily:

• Each school day morning, assignments will be posted from teachers using Google Classroom or other platforms already known to your student. 
  • Student virtual learning time should not exceed 3 hours per day.
• All have access to Google Classroom or other platforms through their Chromebooks.
• Students are encouraged to email their teacher if they have questions about any assignment.  
• As students turn in assignments, teachers will continue to monitor student growth and provide students with feedback.
• We have also talked to our specialty teachers who will be providing resources for students as well. 

Please know that we will continue to update you through email.  We appreciate all of your support through this process, as we know that students will need some guidance and assistance at home.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at any time.
