Badger High School Entrepreneurship Class Gets Real Life Experience

Badger High School Entrepreneurship ClassOctober 25, 2017 — Entrepreneurship is the art of owning and operating your own business.  Today, Mrs. Kirk’s Entrepreneurship class took an in class period field trip to Simple and Simple Bakery & Market in Lake Geneva where they learned from local entrepreneurs.   

The students toured the facilities, were given the opportunity to experience Simple’s food, saw the behind the scenes logistics of how a restaurant and bakery operate, and spent time communicating with the Owners and General Manager.  

About the Entrepreneurship Course
The Entrepreneurship course is offered to grades 10-12.  In this class, students assess their entrepreneurial attitudes and ability, learn how to assess business competition, and create a business plan. Students learn from entrepreneurs who speak in class, projects, videos, traditional assignments, and from the semester project.  For more information about this course, v
