DECA members participate at DECA District 6 competition

Fifty-eight students from Badger High School competed at the DECA District 6 Career Development Conference on Saturday, January 6, 2018. DECA members traveled to Racine Case High School to compete in 28 occupational series events. Over 600 students from southeast Wisconsin participated in this conference.

Thirty-seven Badgers were recognized on stage, earning medals in either their 100 question cluster test, or one of the two role-play events in their event category.  Chapter members captured over 65 individual medals.  Twenty-one members earned a plaque for placing first through fourth.

The following Badger students earned a spot for the chapter as automatic qualifiers for the State Career Development Conference in March:

“We are very proud of ALL the DECA members who attended this great event,” said Phil Huff, Badger DECA Advisor. Wisconsin DECA’s state conference will be held on March 5-7 in Lake Geneva. “Please congratulate these students on their fine work if you see them. Go Badgers!” Huff said.
