Mr. Badger 2023

The Badger HOPE Squad sponsored the 1st Annual Mr. Badger Pageant fundraiser. The Badger Brew Crew offered refreshments. A silent auction was held with donations provided by area businesses. The LGMS Hope Squad was also present to welcome guests. Rock Central House Band started the night off featuring two Badger students, siblings Tommy & Annie McEneany. The pageant kicked off with the boys and their guides participating in a dance (see each participant list below). This was followed by contestant introductions, a beach round, a talent show, and a formal interview. Throughout the night, statistics on suicide awareness and mental health were presented by HOPE Squad members, and the night ended with closing statements from the contestants.

The runner-up winner was Landon Nottestad, and the 2023 Mr. Badger winner was Ashton Turner. 

The contestants raised over $14,800 for the HOPE Squad to bring about awareness on suicide prevention and mental health. Donations were also gathered for The Tree House Advocacy Center in Elkhorn. We thank everyone for their generous support and donations. It was a fabulous night! Thank you to all of our contestants, guides, and sponsors!
