Badger High School’s award winning Theater Department will perform their final Mainstage production of the year on May 2, 3, 4 at 7:00 PM in the Badger Recital Hall. Seating is limited to 175 each night, so purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.

The play, which is a mixture of a documentary and The Twilight Zone, is based on an incomprehensible event during a High School play in Menachap, California in 2017. By staging and recreating interviews with witnesses, loved ones, first responders, investigators pursuing the case, and even video footage from the occurrence the cast of 38 Badger students bring the story of the strange event to life, documentary-style. But as the strands weave together into an increasingly dangerous and bizarre web, it becomes clear that this phenomenon might not be entirely in the past. Frightening, unnerving, exhilarating, and wildly inventive, you’ve never walked into anything quite like this show.  Director Andrew Stoltenberg says “this is a very different style of show than what we are used to here at Badger and it has pushed the cast and will mostly likely push the audience as well.”  Senior Stage Manager, Abby Patterson suggests “the less you know about this show beforehand, the better.”

Tickets are $5 all ages and are available at the Badger front office or by calling 262-348-2000. Although there is no content that is directly inappropriate, due to the nature of the show, ages 11 and up are recommended.
