Badger auto students Jeremiah Clevenger and Josh Machac placed 3rd in the state finals of the Auto Dealers Association - Technicians of Tomorrow Competition held at the Milwaukee Auto Show on Friday, March 4, 2022. They repaired eleven planted bugs on a 2021 Ford Escape in a seventy-five-minute time period. A vehicle was provided to practice on by Kunes Ford in Delavan. Josh and Jeremiah also demonstrated their skills in areas of: air conditioning, steering/suspension & brakes, tire service, a job interview, and electrical and wiring repair. Josh and Jeremiah each walked away with multiple job offers, a $1,000 scholarship, SnapOn tools and a gift bag full of items from Ford, Chevy, Subaru and Automotive Dealers. Jeremiah and Josh qualified for the finals by scoring in the top six schools in the state on an industry certification test.
