Winter Play: Art: It’s All Relative – 2 plays about the meaning of Art

The Badger High School Theater Department will present the Winter Play, Art: It’s All Relative, February 7, 8, and 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Badger Recital Hall.  The evening is actually two separate plays, both about art and what it means to different people.

The first act is called The Gallery and is about 70 minutes of various scenes inside an art gallery. Act two, is called Picasso at the Lapin Agile and is a comedic fictional account of Einstein and Picasso meeting in Paris, both on the verge of changing the world with their ideas. Since both acts are “stand alone” plays, only thematically connected, people may buy tickets for just one act or the entire show.

Tickets for only one act are $3, or $5 for the whole show. Act one begins at 7:00 p.m., Act two at 8:15 p.m. Featuring over 38 Badger High School students, the plays range in content from the comedic, to the romantic, to the dramatic.

Act two is better suited for teenage and older.  Seating is limited to 175 each night, so buying
your ticket early is strongly suggested. Tickets are available in the Badger front office or by calling 262-348-2000.
