US Presidential Scholars Program Nominee

Badger High School Senior Emma Olson Wokasch has been nominated for the 2024 United States Presidential Scholars Program.

 

Nominees have showcased exceptional ability and outstanding accomplishments in the field of career and technical education. Nominated by Wisconsin's Chief State School Officer based on outstanding records of leadership, academic achievement, and contribution to school and community. Only up to five candidates in our state who meet the qualifications will move on to the national level competition.

 

Emma will go on to compete in an application process, and from there, the commission will select up to 20 Scholars in Career and Technical Education in the nation.

Emma’s Qualifications for the 2024 US Presidential Scholars Program include: 

-Badger FFA member, where she served as an officer all four years of high school

-Youth Apprenticeship Agriculture Program

-Student in Agriscience and Business classes throughout High School

-Involvement in community service projects

-Involvement in school and community organizations
