Lana (Wieseman) Poshepny, Class of 2012, was a three-sport standout in golf, basketball, and track and field. Lana earned an impressive nine varsity letters during her Badger High School career. In golf, she earned three varsity letters and was a member of the 2010 Conference Championship team. As a member of the track team, Lana earned three varsity letters and was a member of both the 2010 and 2012 Conference Championship teams. Lana was an exceptional contributor to the Lady Badger basketball program and finished her career as Badger’s 3rd all-time leading scorer with 1035 points. She was a two-time 1 st Team All-Conference selection and was named the 2012 Southern Lakes Conference Player of the Year. Also as a senior, Lana was selected to the 2012 WBCA All-Star game and was a player on the Academic All-State team. She was the recipient of the Jane Clausen Award for Badger’s most outstanding athlete her senior year as well.

Lana 
went on to have an outstanding basketball career at Beloit College. She was a two-time 1 st Team All-Conference selection and in her final year, she was named the Midwest Conference Player of the Year. She is the all-time leading scorer at Beloit College with 1639 career points. Lana also holds three school records in single game points scored, single season points scored, and most free throws made in a career.

Inducted into the Badger Athletic Wall of Fame in 2023.
