Cross Country

This cross country camp will simulate a week of Badger Cross Country. Runners will be placed according to their fitness level. Participants might find it beneficial to get some running in prior to the camp, but it is not a requirement. Every runner should coming with proper running attire (running shoes) and a water bottle.

Mondays - Fridays 7:45 - 9:00 a.m.
Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Meet in Room 150 No Cost

Summer running is an optional running program, led by your senior leaders.  The senior leaders will have 3 or 4 running groups and their respective routes written on the whiteboard for you to choose from.   Next, they will lead you in a lunge matrix (a stretching exercise) and then you are off running with your group; a veteran runner will lead your group. You will finish your run with some strides. 
Monday and Wednesday will have an evening run led by seniors with Coach Kiefer assisting. Finally, Fridays are called fun day and the seniors will lead you in some fun games or a jog down to the lake for a swim. 
Summer runs are optional, but are strongly encouraged as they will start getting you in shape for the upcoming season.  We challenge people to make 10 practices during the summer.
